Subscription and billing
How do I cancel Roomy Pro?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Roomy and tap Cancel Subscription. Do this at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the paid period is over.
I deleted the app. Am I still being charged?
Yes, until you cancel. Subscriptions belong to your Apple Account, not to the app. Cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
When does my free trial turn into a paid subscription?
At the end of the trial, unless you cancel more than 24 hours before it ends. If you buy a subscription during the trial, the rest of the trial is lost.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account you paid with. If you need help, write to us.
I paid, but Pro is still locked.
Open the subscription screen and tap Restore. If it still does not unlock, check that you are signed in with the Apple Account that paid, and whether the purchase belongs to another Family Sharing member. Then email us with the date of the charge.
Photos, storage and permissions
Where did my deleted photos go?
Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted. iOS keeps them there for about 30 days, and you can restore them.
My free space did not go up.
Items in Recently Deleted still use space. Open that album, tap Select, then Delete All. Only you can do this: iOS does not allow other apps to.
Roomy cannot see my photos.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Roomy and choose Full Access. With Limited Access the app sees only the items you selected.
A group has photos that are not the same.
Grouping is based on how similar the frames look and can include different shots of one scene. Deselect anything you want to keep. Only selected items are deleted.
How much will a video shrink?
It depends on the clip. The app shows an estimate for each preset next to the original size, and nothing is saved until you confirm.
Privacy
Are my photos uploaded?
No. All scanning and editing happen on your iPhone.
How do I stop tracking?
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and turn it off for Roomy. The advertising identifier will no longer be shared with AppsFlyer or Firebase.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
Email privacy@roomycleaner.com and tell us what you need: access, a copy or deletion. We do not hold your photos, so a request covers analytics and purchase data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
