Four tools, one library.
Everything Roomy does is about the photos and videos you already have. It does not touch system files, other apps or iOS settings, because no App Store app is allowed to.
Similar photos
Bursts and retakes are grouped together and one frame is marked Best. It is only a suggestion: tap another frame to keep that one instead, or use Deselect All and pick by hand.
Compress videos
Choose a preset and see the estimated size next to the original before anything is saved. The real result depends on the clip.
Remove background
Add a photo, and Roomy cuts out the subject. Drag the slider to compare with the original before you save.

Deleted items go to Recently Deleted first
iOS keeps them in Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted for about 30 days. You can restore anything from there, but the space is freed only after that album is emptied. Only you can empty it: iOS does not let other apps do it.
Privacy
Your photos stay on your iPhone.
Scanning, grouping, compression and background removal all run on the device. Roomy also uses three third-party services for analytics, attribution and crash reports. Here is what each one does.
Stays on your device
Photos, videos, scan results, compressed files and edited images. None of this is uploaded to us or to any other company.
AppsFlyer
Measures which ads led to an install or subscription. Your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking when the app asks.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
Analytics shows which screens are opened and where people get stuck. Crashlytics sends a technical report when the app crashes, so we can fix it.

Roomy is free to download. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends if your offer includes one. The subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
To cancel, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Questions
Before you download.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Roomy reads your library through Apple's Photos framework and does all comparisons on the iPhone. We do not run servers that store photos, videos or scan results.
Does Roomy track me?
Roomy uses AppsFlyer to measure its ad campaigns. On first launch iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you say no, the advertising identifier is not accessed and your activity is not linked with data from other companies. You can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
I deleted a lot, but my free space barely changed.
The items are in Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted. Empty that album to get the space back right away.
Will Roomy make my iPhone faster?
No. iOS does not let apps clear system caches, manage memory or change other apps. Roomy works only with the photos and videos in your library.
How much space will I get back?
That depends on your library. After the scan Roomy shows how many items are in each list, and the delete button shows the exact number before you tap it.
